About the Church

The Concord Community Church has had a varied history. It was built in the mid 1800's as a Unitarian Church. However, the congregation died, and the building was empty for many years. Several decades ago, a Bible believing congregation bought the building from the Unitarians for about $2000.00! That congregation was introduced to Southern Baptists by Glen Hatch. The church became a part of the association in 1999.
The church is the only church in the village, and has a good group of young families and older people as well. They have a ministry to children and weekly Bible Study.
