Baptist Fellowship Holds Summer Camps

In June 2010, a mission team from Enon Baptist Church in Oxford, North Carolina partnered with The Baptist Fellowship of Randolph in reaching the Randolph-area community with the Gospel. In the mornings, an average of 30 children each day learned about God’s Word through Vacation Bible School. The theme was Route 254, a program developed by Lifeway Christian Resources. The program leads children to "travel" across America, learning that if they choose God as their guide, they'll arrive at the ultimate destination, which is a relationship with Jesus! A lunch was provided and most of the children then stayed for one of the afternoon camps, which also attracted additional children and youth.  Down at the Randolph park, twenty children participated in a flag football camp. At the same time, 12 children participated in a music camp at the church in which they learned songs, which they performed on Family Night.

In addition, the mission team led a youth rally on Wednesday night that stirred the souls of several teenagers.  The rally consisted of humorous videos, praise songs, prize give-aways, and a message delivered by Enon Baptist Church youth minister, Steve Brown.
