Barre Church Celebrates Young Poet

Pastor John Tracy of the Barre Baptist Fellowship in Barre, Vermont, is pleased to report that Jade Smith (last name changed for security purposes), age 11, has had a poem published in a collection of poems called "Brilliance: A Book of Poetry." The 6th grade young lady has written a number of poems and also enjoys singing. She and her sister sing regularly at the church's worship services. Their mother is one of the key volunteers in the church's soup kitchen, which provides over 5000 hot meals each year to the needy.
