Barre Church Reaches Children

October 31 has often been associated with the devil and his minions. But Faith Community Church of Barre, VT decided to take the day back from the devil's domain by holding a Harvest Festival in direct competition with Satan's plans. The outreach ministry was a huge success as 120 people came to the Christian event. Many children hear the Gospel at the face painting booth and through a "balloon" story the pastor told about Jonah and the Great Fish. The children also enjoyed games, a cake walk and every family that came had the chance to get a free family photo. Three families came to church the following Sunday as a result.
