Colchester Youth Minister to Community Servants

Thirteen men and women who serve the community of Colchester as fire and safety personnel were honored and served by the students of Breakaway Youth Ministry of Daybreak Community Church in Colchester, Vermont. Students planned and prepared a breakfast to honor their guests  Students prepared pancakes, ham, eggs, roasted red potatoes, juice and coffee. Daybreak members also supplied muffins, pastries, and gave of their time. Associate Pastor Dennis Chevalier offered up prayer for the men and women of Colchester Center Fire Dept, Mallet's Bay Fire Dept., Colchester Police Department and St. Michael's Fire and Rescue Department and Senator Dick Mazza. Students experienced the truth of Mark 8:35, "If you try to keep your life for yourself, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake and for the sake of the Good News, you will find true life."(NLT)
