GMBA Director Attends National Convocation

Terry Dorsett, the Director for the Green Mountain Baptist Association, joined over 400 other Directors of Missions from around the nation at the National Convocation on Associations in September 2009. The meeting was held at Ridgecrest Conference Center in North Carolina. It was the first national convocation on associations held by the Southern Baptist Convention in 20 years. The purpose of the gathering was to discuss how to help associations be more effective in partnering together to fulfill the Great Commission. Many ideas came out of the meeting, but the primary consensus was that churches in America are spiritually weak and we must make praying for revival a priority.
