Dr. James Wideman Speaks to GMBA Men

In January, Dr. James Wideman, Executive Director of the Baptist Convention of New England, traveled to Vermont to speak to a large gathering of men. Five GMBA churches took part in the meeting, which was held at the Faith Community Church in Barre. The men from Faith prepared breakfast for all the participants. Dr. Wideman spoke to the men about the need for men to live “as missionaries in our community.” The men were challenged to think like missionaries and then to act like missionaries because our culture has changed to dramatically that Christians must think cross culturally just like missionaries in others lands do. Pray for the men who were present to take action on Dr. Wideman’s challenge.
