GMBA Leaders Attend Expository Preaching Conference

The first weekend of May eleven pastors and elders from four Green Mountain Baptist Association churches attended the annual conference of the New England Center for Expository Preaching. The men were challenged toward godly living and godly leadership by the preaching of Dr. Mark Dever and Dr. Derek Thomas.  Dr. Dever is author of a number of books and a well known pastor. Each of the participants were given over $100 worth of books and materials to assist them in their preaching ministry. "Dr. Mark Dever and the 9- Marks workshop was well worth it, but also to hear great other scholars and preachers was very rewarding" reported Dr. David Lee, one of the GMBA leaders who attended the conference.
