Marriage and Parenting Seminars Held Across State

Rod Kerr, a marriage and family therapist from North Carolina, spent a week in Vermont the first week of October. He invested his time in leading marriage and family seminars across the state. Churches in Central Vermont and in the Rutland area took part. Kerr used practical illustrations, role plays, easy to remember action steps and a wealth of personal experience to help couples increase their understanding of how to have a happier marriage and how to be more effective parents. He also held two lunches for pastors and their wives with the goal of helping them learn how to assist families in crisis. This is Kerr's second trip for Vermont to hold such seminars. The events were well attended and many participants have testified to how helpful the seminar was to them.
