Montpelier Church Calls New Pastor

On July 19 the Resurrection Baptist Church of Montpelier voted to Call Rick Kesterson as the new pastor. Rick has been a pastor in Virginia and also a missionary to Louisiana. In addition to being a successful pastor, Rick has also owned his own contracting business. The Kestersons have been to Vermont on a number of occasions doing volunteer work for the Green Mountain Baptist Association. "When I saw on the web site that Resurrection was looking for a pastor, I called Terry immediately to ask him about the church," says Kesterson. The process took a few months to work through, but the church looks forward with great anticipation to the Kestersons arrival. They plan to arrive on the field in early October.
