North Carolina Volunteers Help To Improve South Northfield Church
Eight volunteers from North Carolina have been working to help improve the New Life Church in South Northfield. Photo courtesy New Life Church Eight volunteers from five different Southern Baptist Churches in the South Fork Baptist Association of North Carolina traveled to Vermont last week to install a handicap accessible bathroom in Northfield’s New Life Community Church. These volunteers included master plumbers, electricians, and carpenters that wanted to bless the New Life Community Church by making a bathroom that would be accessible for all of their members and guests. Previously, all the bathrooms were downstairs in the church building, and now there are facilities on both stories of the building. New Life Community Church would like to thank Delary’s plumbing and McLean electric for their time and resources on this project, and Morrison and Clark Flooring for the donation of the new laminate flooring. They would also like to thank Pastor Paul Hoffman and the congregation of Northfield United Methodist Church for hosting a place for the volunteer’s lunches to be served and providing a meal for the team. New Life Community Church is located on the left just south of the exit 5 access road and South Village Mobil at 1151 VT Route 12 S. Everyone is invited to attend their services in their new building Sundays at 10:00 a.m.
