Texas Church Encourages Vermont Pastors

The last week of June a team from Lakeshore Baptist Church, Hudson Oaks, Texas invested a week in Vermont prayer walking towns in need of new churches and encouraging pastors. The team is from the Parker County Baptist Association, which has an ongoing partnership with the Green Mountain Baptist Association. The team took a number of pastors out to dinner while other members of the team watched the pastors' children. The team also assisted in the Open Door Soup Kitchen in Barre and helped paint the East Randolph Baptist Church. The team plans future projects to encourage pastors in small churches to remain faithful to their calling.
