Vermont Youth Experience Revival

Faith Community Church of Barre, VT partnered with Concord Baptist Church of Anderson, SC to host Youth Explosion II. The week long event was held the first week of August, 2009. Nearly 100 teens participated in games, skits, team building activities and Bible study. Forty of the teens also were involved in an intensive leadership training program where they were equipped to share their faith with others. Adrian Despres, of Kingdom Builders Ministries, was the featured speaker. His powerful sermons deeply touched the lives of the teens who took part. At least 12 teens made the commitment to become a Christian as a result of the week. Many other teens deepened their walk with Christ. In addition to the host church, teens from Community Baptist Church in Montgomery Center, Resurrection Baptist Church in Montpelier, and the Barre Alliance Church and the Barre Evangelical Free church took part in the program. Plans are already under way for next year's Youth Explosion.
