Vermont Youth Experience Revival

For the third year Faith Community Church of Barre, VT partnered with Concord Baptist Church of Anderson, SC to hold a week long youth event in Central Vermont. The multi-day event had two purposes, leadership training and evangelistic outreach. Each afternoon 50 hand selected young people met for two hours for intense leadership training led by Jeremy Kingsley of OneLife Ministries. Kingsley is the author of the Amazon best selling book, Be Last, and is one of the most sought after youth speakers in America today. Each evening teens from around Central Vermont were invited to take part in games, a meal, skits, teen-oriented music and sermon by Kingsley. The theme of the week was I Am Not Ashamed. Each night a different aspect of that theme was developed, including not being ashamed of the Bible, of being pure, of sharing our faith, of our past and of whatever future the Lord may give us. Though most of the teens were from the Faith Community Church in Barre, teens from the Washington Baptist Church, the Baptist Fellowship in Randolph, the Church of the Crucified One in Morrisville, the Salvation Army Church in Barre and Community Baptist Church in Montgomery Center also took part. Between 140-160 gathered each night for the evening sessions. At least eight teens professed faith in Jesus and over 25 other teens made various spiritual decisions regarding the issues that were presented each night.
