Members of Resurrection Baptist Church in Montpelier set up free games and activities on the State House Lawn during the Independence Day celebrations the town was having. The games were held right before the parade so a large crowd was able to see and take part in the games. The church gave away Bibles and Gospel tracts. They also invited children who played the games to come to their upcoming Vacation Bible School.
