Twenty four couples from Vermont traveled to Kennebunkport, Maine in early September to take part in a Pastor and Wives Encouragement Retreat. The retreat was sponsored by Phil Waldrep Evangelistic Association. Junior Hill, a Southern Baptist evangelist, shared a number of encouraging messages with the pastor and their wives. Several people shared testimonies and musical selections. A great time of fellowship and worship was had by all. The ladies were treated to a magical breakfast one morning which included limosine rides and gifts. The Friday night banquet includes lobster and an assortment of other dishes as well as entertainment from Bean and Bailey, a Christian comedy team.

For anyone that might have missed this incredible weekend let me encourage you to make plans not to miss next year. What a wonderful time of healing and encouragement.
