Mattie Sommers grew up in the small village of Peacham VT. She was very active in the East Peacham Baptist Church, where she learned about missions. She is now serving as a missionary in the mountains of Peru working with children. Her grandfather visits her often in Peru, where he builds houses and other structures for the mission that Mattie is working with.
