Lyandon Warren, Pastor of Mettowee Valley Church reports:

Our church is growing so much that we are going to be adding on an addition this summer. We are hope to start the project in late May. The addition will be 1000 square feet. While putting on the addition, we will also do some modification to the sanctuary to help with our increasing attendance. We will moving back our stage and add one row of pews in the front of the church and put chairs in the balcony to accommodate more people. We will also be extending the area behind the pulpit and adding a baptistry. Lastly, we will be installing a set of stairs from the fellowship hall to the downstairs.

We are planning to have a one year celebration on May 3rd. We will probably start at 5:00. Everyone is welcome to come join in this celebration of what God is doing. God is really at work in our area! We have been approached to start a bible study in another town and are looking forward to what God does through this opportunity.

This is such wonderful news to hear of how God is touching the hearts of the folks in that area and drawing them to himself. I remember that Sunday night a couple of years back when our team had driven from Waterbury Center that morning to be with you that evening. The church that had just recently been given to the GMBA didn't yet have a name yet as I recall, and actually, we were later told, we were the first group to conduct a service(concert in this case) in the sanctuary. I'm just overwhelmed at what God is doing. People are hungry for the hope, peace and salvation that can only be found in Christ.

Thank you, Jesus. You spoke to me today about how to renergize my prayer life and You spoke about how important prayer is because somehow,(I don't know how) the Holy Spirit can CHANGE the season in a person's heart. If I don't pray that wonderful work with the "seed" may not get done or will have to wait and wait and wait.
I hate to wait in line.
God must not like it either!!!
I have made Him wait in line very very often.

Now my eyes can see that He is changing hearts at this geographic area of his planet. It's a new season for the seed, the sprout, the maturing.
I praise Him for this new creation in W. Pawlet, for all the steadfast trustees, for constantly molding new creatures in Christ thru Bible study,
His NT church, prayer and His pure Spirit.

Lord, show us all more and mysteries about why prayer is YOUR tool.

We are overcome with excitement for all up there who have worked so hard for these things to come about and all who WILL come to the Mett. Valley Comm. Church.
