From the time they joined NETS, Chris and Brandi Bass have been dreaming of planting a church in the student rich area of Cambridge, Massachusetts. On March 9th, that dream took one more step toward reality.
They have been asking you to pray for wisdom as NETS has been looking for a building to house the new church – and God has been kind to answer your prayers. We now have verbal agreement to purchase a congregational church building in Watertown, MA.
The facility is a quintessential New England church, with a sanctuary capable of eventually seating 400-450 people and a separate wing which can be used in the future for church and outreach activities. We are now in the process of leasing this wing until needed by the church, and already have a very interested party. Praise God for his kindness to us and to this

There are many details to be worked through, including building inspections, appraisals, formalizing a purchase and sale agreement, and officially securing a lease for roughly half of the facility. And did we mention fundraising to the tune of about $1.6M?
